SR rotary valves are the ideal choice where your product is poor flowing and tends to hang up where there are restrictions or changes in pipework cross section.
Most rotary valves have a "necked" inlet to use a smaller rotor diameter which is fine for free flowing products but can cause problems where "sticky" products are conveyed.
The SR series valve has a straight drop in and out with no restrictions so problematic materials are conveyed without bridging. If you have a particularly troublesome material mechanical and pneumatic ejector systems can be fitted to the valve. |

The valve is also configured as standard with a round inlet and square outlet (which can be reversed), ideal for use on normally round storage silos discharging into a screw or pneumatic conveying line, eliminating the round to square adapter that can cause product bridging.
As with all of our valves, we can fit a number of options including replaceable tips, closed end rotors and of course the renowned mechanical shaft seal system.
If a standard cast valve does not fit your specification then we can also fabricate the SR series in any shape using standard components for most mechanical parts. |
