TSY Diverter Valve

The TSY heavy duty diverter valve is used on abrasive and difficult to handle materials. The design keeps the thick polyurethane tongue out of the product flow, preventing wear of this essential component.

For very abrasive materials such as sand and ash, the body can be made from hardened cast iron making the valve almost as long wearing as ni-hard. The flap can be made from high carbon steel or even ceramic tiled for the ultimate in longevity.

For vacuum applications, the robust design means the valve can be used right up to a full vacuum without losing its seal

For high pressure conveying for instance in dense phase systems the valv maintains a seal up to 2 bar as standard.

For essential maintenance, the valve is easity disassembled with the centre mechanism as a sub-assembly for simple replacement.

The modular design allows on-site plant modifications to be made easily- a Y type can be converted to a straight through type and even into a diverter vent scale) valve.

The TSY comes with a range of accessories including pipe flanges, couplings, hardened bends and delivery adapters. For non-standard sizes we also offer a fabricated valve which offers the same benefits as the standard unit but to suit your pipework exactly.
